DIY FeedMyPaws Recipe: Pork Curry for Dogs! (beat the haze!)
Share
Hi everyone!
Today we've got a super delicious PORK CURRY RECIPE for dogs that's perfect to beat the haze with! It's chockfull of superfoods and antioxidants (and probiotics!), and is 100% dog-friendly! :) We're all very bothered by the haze, and we hope that everyone has been eating lots of fruits and veggies to help keep you healthy! :) This recipe is perfect for regular days too, but is especially useful right now so we do hope you'll try it out! :) The extras can be portioned and frozen :)
(Sorry there's no video tutorial for this recipe. I injured my back, and can't sit too long at my desk editing for now. So I've decided to do a picture-recipe instead as it allows me to work from my iPad. Don't worry, the steps are very easy to follow!)
Here are the ingredients you'll need:
STEP 1: Place red pepper and carrot in a blender or food processor.
This is what you'll see after blending:
STEP 2: Add greek yoghurt and turmeric powder to the blended mixture, and blend once more.
This is what you'll see after blending (looks like curry already huh!!):
STEP 3: Place small pieces of pork in a very hot, non-stick pot for a good sear!
STEP 4: Stir pork around after 2 minutes (see the nice caramelised bits, hehe).
STEP 5: Add curry sauce to the pot. Bring to a boil, then cover pot, and simmer for 15 minutes till pork is tender and sauce is well cooked through.
After 15 minutes, here's the final dish!
This can be served as a side to your dog's regular diet, or serve with a little brown rice as a complete meal! :) Our dogs absolutely LOVED this and we hope yours will too! :)
