Can dogs eat orange?

YES! Your dog can eat orange! Oranges are rich in vitamin C, potassium, and fiber - all of which are beneficial for your dog.

How to serve oranges safely to dogs?

Remove the peel (it's not recommended to feed your dog orange peel as it can cause indigestion) and remove the seeds (orange seeds are a potential choking hazard for your dog) and only feed the juicy, fleshy part of the orange in small pieces.

As with all treats, moderation is key! Also, if you're feeding your dog orange for the first time, be sure to start with a very small amount.

Some dogs might not enjoy citrusy fruits and that's okay because there are tons of other fruits and vegetables that are rich in Vitamin C too! Some other fruit options:

1. Strawberry - Can my dog eat strawberry?

2. Mango - Can my dog eat mango?

Fun treat ideas when serving oranges to dogs:

Blend orange and freeze to make little fruity ice cubes! Add other fruits for a delicious, hydrating treat on a hot day.

Slice orange, strawberry, and other fruits your dog likes. Place them on an edible meat stick (we recommend our Pick Up Sticks in CHICKEN or PORK) and watch them enjoy a fruity, meaty kebab!
